Just wanted to show you the results of our first session of Lois's class:
Socks on 2 circulars.
This is a picture of my sample. Toe up (toe is at left with marker). Next week we'll turn the heel. This is the first time I've done toe-up, as I learned to knit socks on double points and decided that was good enough for me. BUT, I thoroughly enjoyed this first session AND will knit socks toe up or top down in the future - depending on the pattern.
The toe up method allows you to measure as you go. Lois gave us some math lessons - and we all "got-it"! I'm thrilled to use this method whenever possible.
Great class, Lois.
Hopefully, people will take advantage of your classes in the future.

Pastiche from designer Susan Dingle (More Than Knotz) is in the shop so you can see what Susan will be teaching in class. If you love learning different stitch techniques, this is the class for you!
Broomstick Lace
Popular class with Kristin.
Broomstick Lace involves a knitting needle (size 50 for this project) and a crochet hook. Many beautiful projects may be created with broomstick lace. We are excited to present this class to you.
It doesn't seem to matter what I do, I can't get this purse to stand upright in the picture. I think the Elf On The Shelf got hold of it and it has lost it's balance. I promise that if you see it in the shop, it is hanging on a chair - and it's right side up!
It's a great crochet class.
Just look at the Blogpost from January 7th to see the class schedule for January. Lots of things you don't want to miss.

Also, our Toe-Up Sock Class starts tomorrow. Still have room in the class - 2:00pm Just call to sign up.
